Labselect - Cryogenic Vial

Labselect Cryogenic Vials are manufactured from high-quality polypropylene for storing cells, tissues, microbiological samples, nucleic acid and protein samples in extreme temperatures ranging from -196 to +121°C. Do not use cryogenic vials for storage in the liquid phase of liquid nitrogen. Only store vials in the vapor phase above the liquified gas. Cryopreservation is an essential process for halting almost all chemical reactions during long-term storage and for preventing sample degradation. Cryogenic vial closures and tubes are made of polypropylene with the same coefficient of expansion, which further enhances the leakproof qualities of these vials at various temperatures.

Cryogenic Vial Safety Tip
Appropriate safety equipment (gloves, face shields, biological safety cabinets, hoods, etc.) should always be used to protect personnel when removing vials or ampules from cryogenic.

Do not use cryogenic vials for storage in the liquid phase of liquid nitrogen. Only store vials in the vapor phase above the liquified gas. 
Always use appropriate safety equipment when removing vials from cryogenic storage systems.
