G3370-500UL 2× RNA Loading Buffer for Nucleic Acid Electrophoresis RNA Loading Reagent

2×RNA Loading Buffer is used for loading RNA samples for electrophoresis on agarose or polyacrylamide gels. It contains electrophoresis tracking dyes bromophenol blue, and denaturant formaldehyde. In most denaturing agarose gel systems, bromophenol blue migrates slightly faster than human 5S rRNA.

Technical Specification

Storage and Handling Conditions

Transport use wet ice. Store at 4ºC for periods up to 12 months. For longer periods, stored at -20ºC.
 

Assay Protocol

1. Add an equal volume of 2×RNA loading buffer to your RNA sample and mix well.

2. Heat the mixture at 70ºC for 10 min.

3. Chill on ice and spin down prior to loading on a gel.
 

Note:

1. RNA is easy to degration because of the ubiquitous RNase, so please note the use of enzyme-free consumables.

2. This product can also be used for oligomerization single strand DNA samples in gel electrophoresis.

3. For your safety and health, please wear lab coat and disposable gloves.
