G1128-1L Environmentally friendly dewaxing clear solution for histopathology

This product is used as a clearing agent for tissue blocks in histopathology and a deparaffinizing agent for paraffin sections. Paraffin is an organic compound, and xylene is the most commonly used dewaxing agent based on similar compatibility principles. However, xylene is highly volatile, has a pungent odor, and is carcinogenic. This product is compatible with paraffin, is colorless and odorless, has a very low volatilization rate, and is non-corrosive to instruments and equipment. It can replace xylene as a dewaxing agent for paraffin sections. It can improve the experimental working environment and protect the health of operators. It is an ideal environment-friendly dewaxing and clearing agent.

Storage and transportation

Store and transport at room temperature; valid for 24 months.

 

Instructions for use

  1. Transparency of the tissue block before embedding: The fully dehydrated tissue block is immersed in 5-10 times the volume of this product, and transparent for 1-4 hours according to the size of the tissue block. For complete transparency, two steps are recommended. It is then routinely dipped in paraffin and embedded.
  2. For section dewaxing before staining: Immerse the paraffin section in this product, and dewax at room temperature for 20-30 minutes according to the thickness of the section. It is recommended to perform two steps to ensure complete dewaxing. The sections were then rehydrated with absolute ethanol and graded ethanol for subsequent special staining or immunohistochemical labeling.
  3. It can be used as deparaffinization solution in automatic immunohistochemical instrument.

 

Precautions

  1. When used as a clearing agent for tissue blocks and a dewaxing agent for tissue sections, it should be replaced regularly according to the frequency and time of use, so as not to affect the clearing and dewaxing effect.
  2. If it is used for transparency before mounting tissue sections, it needs to be mounted with a mounting medium containing isoparaffin.
  3. Please wear lab coat and disposable gloves during operation.
