G1004-100ML Water Soluble Hematoxylin Stain Solution

Hematoxylin is usually combined with Eosin for staining, that is, HE staining. Hematoxylin is oxidized to produce hematoxylin, which is a basic dye used for staining cell nuclei in histology. The basic principle of staining is that DNA, the main component of chromatin in the nucleus, is negatively charged and acidic, and is easily stained by combining with alkaline and positively charged hematoxylin dye. The hematoxylin stain of this product can be used with eosin stain (G1001 or G1002) for HE staining of tissues or cells, and the stained cell nucleus is bright blue or blue-purple.

Technical Specification

Usage:

After deparaffinization/rehydration,or complete chromogenic immunohistochemical staining, wash the tissue section in running tap water for several minutes. Stain the tissue section in hematoxylin solution for 5-10 minutes, wash in tap water for 1 minute. Then differentiate in 1% hydrochloric acid alcohol and wash in running tap water. Rinse the tissue section in 0.2% ammonia water for bluing or wash in running tap water. Then experienced dehydrate in gradient alcohol (70-100%) and clear in xylene, the tissue section is mounted with resin mounting medium. 

 

Staining result:

The nuclei are bright blue or blue-purple in color.

 

Notes:

  1. Low temperature is not good for hematoxylin coloring. You should extend the staining time under low indoor temperature.
  2. Please use the product in the shelf life. In order to better preserve the product, heat, low temperature and light should be avoid.
  3. For your safety and health, please wear the lab coat and wear a disposable glove operation
